The "Romeiros de S. Martinho " Golden Cross and the Ref Cloth are part of the S.Martinho Knights Costume .

 

On the 11th November me and Violino attended the "Romeiros de S. Martinho" Parade and attended Mass as well dully Dressed up for the Event

 

Back from Golegã . All went well and this year I managed to see the Fair unlike last year that was a year of Ridding and Ridding and Ridding .

 

Three days to the Golega Horse Fair ... Everything ready . This year my 9 month daughter attends her first Golega .
I will be 16 days away and i hope to bring some nice photos and Videos from Golega . Violino had a Brilliant training this weekend. His Piaffer is becoming " A Sight to See" . Also have to share that the "Road Horse" will be for sale at the Fair . A new event at the Fair " Um cavalo a ver ... Um cavalo a adquirir..." ( " A Horse to admire ... A Horse to Aquire..." . On the 11th November at 15:00,on the 12th November at 18:00 , on the 13th November at 15:30 and on the 14th of November at 16:00 .
Violino and I will also attend the "Romeiros de S.Martinho" Parade on the 11th at 17th wich will include a promenade on the Streets of Golegã with the Blessing of the horses at the Our lady of Conceição Church dated from the XVI century that you can see in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goleg%C3%A3

Moment of departure . Violino was , in my opinium , at the very best this day .

 

Full Gallop on the fiealds of Herdade do Carvalhal in Portalegre . Event Organized by the Vet. Clinic Vetal in Portalegre .The Picture was taken from the car with my wife´s Friesens . The man placing me in second is the owner of HD Horse Center in Sintra . I am glad to say that this was the best event i took part . The Organization was brilliant .The conditions for both horses and people were excellent.
I Finally met the Owner of Coudelaria Ribeirinho Peralta Mr. José Peralta that you can check at http://coudelariaribeirinhoparalta.blogspot.com/ with great horses such as Perfeito and Lucas .
Mr . José Peralta is doing an excelent work on the Portuguese "Horse Culture"

Weekend in Sesimbra .
My First outside weekend in two months . Took the Entire family including Violino .
Have a Million of good pictures but I guess this one of Violino and Migas the German Sheppard shows the Happiness of it all ... Have to admit that a Lusitano in the Wild looks pretty good too ...

 
Back from my 3 weeks Off work . Besides my new baby .I had time to ride Violino on a daily basis under the skillfull Teachings of my master here by side ridding an Ortigao Costa Stallion that is on the way to make an Outstanding appearence next year in Golegã .
Moved Violino this month to another place this month but i aa missing not only the Unique teachings of my Master as well as the company of all my Friends . I will probably move the horse once more .
If so i will surely post the news here .

Hello Dear Bloggers , Or i may say hello dear Ana E wich i surely must add must be the One and only follower of my dwellings in this so called Blog .
Time of Change is nearby . Seasons of Change ... And Surely not Seasons in the Abyss ...
But cutting edges straight to the point ...
I will not reveal the changes now ... As the Picture shows the Piaffer is not there yet .But it lurks eagerly looking foward to dazzle the eye of the Beholder .
As in the Picture the new changes both for Me and My Horse are on the brink of disclosure ...
I will be gladly off the Internet for quite some time due to the forthcoming Changes .
I will not however disregard my Ridding and therefore hope to show a very nice Picture Of Piaffer in the future .
One quick but Most Import Note . On the 2nd of this month was the 20th Aniversary of Master Nuno´s Death and my deepest feelings and taughts go to him ...

And i wull have , at last , a horses ridding weekend . Will be working on "Spanhish walk" and "Piaffer" .
After Speaking with my master i was told that Violino is improving in both .

A friend of a Musician I know died yesterday . He , Like me , Played Bass Guitar .
Before Turning 40 he lost his Batle to Cancer ...
He was someone I think really did a Great Job regarding Portuguese Music .
His Name was " Aguarela" . R.I.P
